Aims
Adult Recruitment and Training Credit (ARTC) is a customised recruitment and training programme for employers. It includes both on-the-job training and formal training as appropriate with the additional option of pursuing vocational or industry recognised qualifications.
ARTC is a substantial financial contribution towards the cost of recruiting and training unemployed people. The project is currently delivered across Dunbartonshire, North Ayrshire and parts of Argyll and Bute.
Key features:
• ARTC is a financial contribution up to 50% of the first 8 weeks wages (up to a maximum of £800) paid for recruiting and training eligible unemployed clients.
• ARTC is funded by Scottish Enterprise to help unemployed people back into work and to assist employers with the costs of recruitment, induction and training.
• ARTC is a means of encouraging sustainable employment.
• ARTC is an established scheme that has been running successfully for 12 years.
