This course was funded through EQUAL in Scotland, and is part of the EQUAL EMPLOYABILITY DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP and is delivered by Paisley University.

The course content was designed to allow students to develop their skills in the field of career planning, covering the following areas:
Career Planning Theory
Stage 1- Where am I now?
Stage 2- Where do I want to be?
Stage 3- How do I get there?
Stage 4- What support do I need?
Stage 5- How can I keep on improving

Constructing a CV and covering letter
Interview and Presentation
Personal Development Plan
The course was successfully achieved, culminating in an awards ceremony on 14th March. The presentations were carried out by two lecturers from Paisley University who hosted the course. (Laura Doherty and Gill Hodge), with special thanks to them for their commitment and support during the course.
This is the first part of an ongoing programme designed to provide qualifications for those delivering employability support projects.
